Transportation services are provided for all non-public schools located within 10 miles of the outer boundaries of the School District. Pennsylvania School Code guidelines for transportation deem transportation necessary for students in grades Kindergarten through Six (K-6) whose residences are 1.5 miles or greater from school, and for students in grades Seven through 12 (7-12) whose residences are 2 miles or greater from the school. Transportation services are provided for students in grades Kindergarten through Twelve (K-12) who live in the School District in areas where transportation is deemed necessary due to distance between home and school and/or where hazardous walking conditions between home and school exist. The School District of Cheltenham Township authorizes and creates bus routes and stops, and Cheltenham Transportation, LLC reviews and maintains the routes to ensure that transportation is carried out safely and efficiently.

Cheltenham Transportation, LLC is contracted by the School District of Cheltenham Township to provide transportation for all eligible students in accordance with State Regulations and District Policies.
