This was a list of items that were very important and needed quickly at the refinery.

When promoted to Buyer he implemented a 'hot list' which the company incorporated. There he learned how to track orders from purchase order to final delivery. He entered the field as an Expeditor, then Buyer for the Hess Oil Company at their Woodbridge, N.J.
